Abstract Submission

Submit an ABSTRACT

Registrar presentations and posters for Shaping Tomorrow 2026.

For poster presenters

Posters should be A2 in either portrait or landscape format. They'll be displayed throughout the day. Print your posters and bring them on the day — TPDs have approved poster printing costs as a claimable study leave expense, submitted through your usual process. MPH students across the region are also warmly invited to include their health protection projects.

For oral presenters

Oral presentations are 5 minutes long, followed by 5 minutes of Q&A from the floor. Presenters will be grouped into a single afternoon session across various rooms. Slides should be in 16:9 format and submitted by Friday 3 July for upload to the venue projection system.

Certificates and recognition

All accepted abstract presenters will receive a presenter certificate to support their training portfolio. Prizes will be awarded for the best presentation and the best poster — both through a delegate-led voting system.

Submission essentials

  • Up to 300 words
  • Please anonymise patient-level or sensitive data
  • Indicate whether you'd prefer an oral presentation (5 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A) or a poster, or are happy with either
  • A loose structure (background · methods · findings · so what) is helpful, but not required

Spaces for presentations and posters are limited. All abstracts are reviewed by the conference committee, and you'll hear back with a decision confirming acceptance. We encourage everyone to get involved: service evaluations, audits, and in-progress placement projects all read well in this room and your submission doesn't need to be "finished" or polished. If you'd like to talk through what you might submit before writing the abstract, email us at wmphconference@gmail.com and we'll help you shape it.

Abstract submission deadline: Wednesday 17 June 2026, 23:59

Acceptance notifications: by Monday 22 June 2026

Slides submission (oral presenters only): by Friday 3 July 2026
